ABOUT LiTEN

THE LEADING NON-COMBUSTIBLE ALUMINIUM PANEL LiTEN,

ACHIEVED BS476 PART 4 CRITERIA.

LiTEN was developed few years ago to meet the demanding changes in fire code that require composite panel tested to BS476 Part 4. LiTEN unique aluminium bead core composition which comprises of 100% aluminium composition, is able to meet stringent fire code requirement of non- combustible criteria.

LiTEN is available in 4mm or 6mm which is similar to traditional aluminium composite material(ACM) in terms of flatness and workability. However, the additional features of LiTEN when comparing to traditional fire resistance aluminium composite panels are:

• Lighter in weight i.e 4.4 -4.6kg/m2 compared to 7.6kg/m2 fire-resistance core panel
• Better strength due to thicker aluminium top skin of 0.7mm for LiTEN instead of 0.5mm top aluminium skin of traditional ACM.
• LiTEN achieved fire test classification BS476 Part 4(Class A1) whereas ACM only achieved B2 or A2 the most.

LiTEN will address the concern of building owners, designer and façade consultant which meet existing fire code requirement in any country and having the positive features of composite materials.
